Rough Earth Snake Research

Rough Earth Snake Research is a Citizen-Science run project about some of the smallest snakes in the Southeastern US.

Their color range is various shades of gray with a bit of brown sometimes. Females are larger than males; females are 10-12 inches long, males are about 7-9 inches long. They have live births and babies have a white spot on the back of their necks.
