A big thank you to the children’s librarians for inviting me out once again to talk with families about science. This time we discussed microorganisms from local ponds and creeks. We looked at millipedes, ants, moss, an aquatic snail, a Madagascar hissing roach, and Lavendar, a rough earth snake! I want to encourage everyone to keep observing the world around you even what lives in your yard.
Feel free to leave any questions in the comment section and we’ll look for the answers.
Have a happy science time!
PS. The National Geographic microscope I had attached to my phone, I’m not finding for sale anywhere. If I find a suitable replacement, I’ll post it on the Product Links page, the other two microscopes are already there.
